Happy Long Weekend to All!

We had a lovely Memorial Day Weekend with some going to the beach and some staying home and lots of just being together doing things.  I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend too.  The apple blossoms have hit full force!

Olivia's Birthday

My wonderful niece Olivia has now turned 4.  Crazy huh!  And because she has celebrated her birthday I can now reveal what I was working on a little bit ago. 

I know, I have written many times about how much I love Quick Change Trousers, but let me say it again.  I love Quick Change Trousers!  They are so stinkin' cute!  and they sew together so beautifully.  Well, for Miss Olivia I decided I would make the little shirt from the All Set Pattern by Anna Maria Horner to go with them.  And to top it all off we have an "In Threes" I knit for her way back in January of this year. 

What we have been up to!

Because the perfect time to repaint a room is right before company comes and you have ton of people over for a barbeque, right?  Fynn loved helping, and really loved being allowed to make some art on the walls, helping me paint.

Capes!

What kid doesn't want to feel like a Super Hero? The boys are all about their "Guy Guys" and they jumped at the chance to become "Guy Guys" themselves.  My kids love their capes, and had a fantastic time at the playground being their super hero alter egos.

Working Working

My sewing room is all messy again!  And I love it!  This time I'm working on a cute little birthday present for my favorite little Birthday Niece.  There will me more to come once the birthday girl, and her mother get to see all her goodies!

More...Signs of Spring!

 The Forsythia are blooming.  The Seagulls are collecting on rooftops in the mills.  The Alewives are swimming up the fish ladder.  Tonight we went for a picnic at the Fort near Popham beach.   I took tons of pictures with my point and shoot because I didn't want to bring my Canon to the beach....Big mistake!  There were Seals, about 6 or 8 of them.  They were so cool, bobbing and playing in the water.  I got some pictures, they looked tiny in all of them, but hey I had them right.  Except, there was an error when I tried to transfer them to my computer and they are gone.  All gone.  So I leave you with a picture of Pork chillin' in the back yard. 

I Scream, You Scream

With the warm weather comes the Ice Cream for treats.  Pistachio has been a popular choice in our house because it is green.  As you can see, with ice cream comes very silly children.  Happy May!
