Happy New Year...and a few days!

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope you are all feeling healthy, wealthy and wise.
We here living on the lake have made our share of resolutions this year.
Some of mine are crafty and some of mine are organizational. And, frankly some of mine are both.
I have decided that basically my resolutions revolve around one principal.  Don't put off what you can do now.  So basically, don't put off doing the dishes, do them as you cook and then clean up the kitchen right after dinner.  That way you don't have to wash them before cooking dinner the next night.  And lets face it, they are way easier to wash as then get dirty instead of letting the food get all crusted on.
In this vein, I have resolved to no go back to bed for another hour after I help get all the boys out the door for the day.  Instead I am going to use that time to work in my craft room, do errands in the morning instead of after work and basically get stuff done.   I mean really, I'm already up and going back to bed is just lazy, not to mention the fact that I hate getting up again and then I always feel rushed because I hit the snooze button so many times I have to run out the door.
I think this will just work better for everyone, and mostly for me.

In crafting news, I have actually finished a UFO tonight.  I can't post picture tonight, just in case some one peaks because it is a gift.  But, I have been sitting on this since August and frankly, it's about time.
As for my crafting resolutions, I would really like to get my UFO's straightened out.  Either finished or re-purposed for their materials.  The first step is going to be making a list of all my unfinished projects.  And then, starting at the top.
I also have a long list of projects that I want to start new.
I hope you all have a good year this year.  Laugh often, love much, live life.
