I Married the Right Man

Patrick has wanted a Kitchenaid mixer forever now and well I found one at a fantastic bargain so I bought it for him as a anniversary present.  And he went to town, in the last few weeks we have had many different kinds of bread and a few different cookies and brownies to boot.  Today he made some Challah, and it is wonderful.  Just sayin'.

In Etsy shop news I just want to let everyone know that I have listed a new bundle.  The Hedgehogs Attack/ Woodland Parade bundle is now available.  It's a great fall mix of fun animal prints from my stash that Patrick and I could not agree on a name for. 

At the Union Fair

We spent Saturday at the Union fair and Blueberry Festival.  The boys had a great time.  Fynn wanted to me take pictures of all of the cows, especially the breed with the fuzzy ears.  Both boys rode the Carousel, and Fynn had a blast of a bunch of the other rides. 
I got to play with my exposure settings after it got dark, seriously wish I had though to bring my Gorilla with me.  We ate some sugar and watch some of the Demo Derby and had a fun "Fair" day.

Seen at the Quilt Show

Fabric origami, some fabulous applique, more "Modern" quilts than I think I've ever seen before, and  some quilts that I quilted hanging in Alewives Fabrics' booth.  We didn't get a lot of time at the quilt show this year, but what I saw was beautiful.

This is from another rainy day, a bit over a year ago.  I can't believe how much he has grown up since then. 
I just wanted to let everyone know that we are not dead, it has just been crazy with 2 birthdays and a hospital visit, but we should be returning to normal soon.
