Right in the middle and off the stage left are two feathered friends. I think they are Grouse or Partridge, I'm not sure which. But they sure we're fun to watch!

Feathered Guests
We have had a lot of snow here in the last few weeks. I love looking at all the snow in our trees and find myself looking out the windows at all the trees in the back yard often. Imagine my surprise today when I saw someone well, 2 someones looking back.

A Nice Start to a New Year
Legos for Fynn and Patrick, cocoa for Liam and, some sewing for me. The view from my sewing room all covered in snow and ice, and a cozy night of games after the kids go to bed. Not a bad start to the new year.

New in the Shop!
There are lots of new little goodies in my Etsy Shop these days.
New fat quarter bundles. Wouldn't any of these make a fantastic Christmas Quilt? Or two of them used together to make a larger quilt for this winter... Gets me thinking...
New Boxy Pouches. Now lined with laminated cotton, making them easy to wipe out. Perfect for potentially messy stuff like Make-up, toiletries, art supplies...
New Baby Bibs. Laminated cotton on one side and soft cotton fabric on the other to really protect baby's clothes from drool and food.
And soon there will be even more new stuff, keep you eyes peeled.

Mail from Auntie Dana and a Recap of the Pumpkinfest Parade!
The boys love getting mail and the totally loved getting new shirts in the mail from their Aunt Dana! They wore them that day to the Pumpkinfest Parade we went to in Damariscotta and showed them off to everyone they met.
This performer was dancing, literally dancing on those stilts. I can't even stay upright on my own two feet half the time.
The parade was a lot of fun for everyone. I will have pictures of all the fantastic pumpkins, but I have to go and take some first. It was so busy in town over the weekend that it was hard to get anywhere near the pumpkins. But they will be in town through Halloween so I'm sure we will get a chance to really check them out.
